Japadog Street Stand - Burrard and Smithe

Had an amazing juicy Kurobuta dog - bursting with flavour and totally hit the spot. We came at 3:30 in the afternoon. No lineups to battle with. Also got some shaken fries with butter

Oh my! What a great lunch. We had the most popular choice - a pork sausage, Japanese mayo, teriyaki sauce and shredded nori pieces. It was everything I thought it would be and well worth the hype. While it is a little on the rich side with the teriyaki sauce and mayo, it's definitely worth the trip. We are at the stand in Stanley Park - not sure if it's a permanent fixture though. The service was quick and it was very reasonably price!

Can't get any cheaper than eating at a hot dog cart, nice to see other celebrities drop by and have their photos taken, order whatever you want, it is popular during lunch time, not so much for dinner. There are a few locations all within downtown YVR.

I saw Japadog many years ago on a food show but had never tried them until now.I was REALLY impressedThe dog was fully loaded and tasted amazing.I had the oroshi dog, the Japanese radish was amazing.For the price it was a meal.I will absolutely be going back.

Happy tummy is all I can say! Although everything in the menu is awesome, Okonomi and beef terimayo are my faves! Always on our bucket list when we visit Vancouver.
