The sandwiches at this restaurant are fairly large and offer good value for the price. The baguettes have the perfect texture and taste, and the fillings are deliciously prepared. I usually order the pulled pork sandwich and enjoy the flavorful taste. Additionally, their salads are also fantastic.
The soups are excellent, especially the veggie chili which is a must-order. It's the best $4 bowl you'll ever have. The veggie sandwich is messy and spicy, but good for $9. The cole slaw is fantastic and highly recommended. The restaurant has a basic industrial decor with retro rock music that is a bit loud, making conversation a challenge. The service is prompt and they have a beer license. Free Wifi is available, and they offer a frequent diner card. They accept credit cards.
One-liner: Real good pulled pork and an aesthetically pleasing salad bowl<br/ Highlight: Pulled Pork Salad Bowl<br/ Recommended for: When you want a sandwich/salad that’s much better than Subway<br/ Would I go back? Yes.<br/ <br/ Check out my blog post for the full review
Dear Hubbub,<br/ <br/ You do good with your sandwiches but compared to Meat Bread, you come second. Why you ask? I've visited you a handful of times and you have been the same, which is good. Consistency is the biggest thing in restaurants. The only thing is the bread is pretty dense. It is quite the chew after a while. Is it supposed to be like banh mi baguette where is flaky and crunchy on the crust yet soft and pillow like on the inside? Or is it supposed to be a different animal all together? I like how there are specials. I like how there are onions and jalapenos but between sandwiches, the differentiation between them are small, protein and sauce changes... That's about it. I mean I understand that the vegetables are all the same to keep food costs consistent or so you can double or triple up so it doesnt make each sandwich individually more expensive... But, I know you can make it next level by adding a hail mary vegetable or component (like roasted garlic in your chicken breast? or something like that. I know its fast, but at least at Meat Bread its fast yet memorable. I do like how you offer Root Beer because I'm a sucker for that stuff.
