Asa Sushi - Vancouver

The sushi here is incredibly fresh and delicious. It stands out from other sushi restaurants, and while it's not overly pricey, it is a step above in quality.

The Vegetarian Dumplings (6 pieces) are fresh and delicious. The chicken on the grilled skewers was flavorful and tender.

I have ordered from Asa many times, but have recently been let down. The rice in my rolls tonight was thick and dry, causing it to separate from the seaweed. The roll had a fishy taste and did not seem fresh. I don’t think I will be ordering from them again.

My dining experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The salmon was overcooked and the BC Roll was not good. I hope we can still salvage our night.

Stopped in at Asa for some sushi and was instantly pleasantly surprised by their friendly prices with most specialty rolls around $8-12 for 8-10 pieces as opposed to most sushi nowadays which is $15-20 for the same stuff!! Walked in on a cold, snowy night and the waitress instantly came over and poured hot tea to warm us up also which was delightful. The sushi was mostly good especially the Voltex Roll! Definitely worth a try!
