Sweet Boutique - Van Buren

I ordered a nice cake for my baby's first birthday. Cake was beautifully decorated, but was very disappointing to find out that I didn't get the taste I ordered. I ordered a lemon raspberry cake. I'm finished with a vanilla raspberry cake. That was very disappointing.

I helped them decorate a few cakes this last year. the owner is super not helpful and not answering. not to mention, I've never been decorated for the last cake I decorate for them. the manager knows nothing about everything that goes on. I'm still guilty of $60 for the last cake I did for her, and if I did the owner he never reacted. do not use this bakery. somewhere else would be a better option. the kitchen is also disgusting and unorganized. they don't care about their customers.

First of all let me say it is not the same since it is under new management and ownership. I literally spent thousands of dollars on cakes over the years at the original sweet boutique and I was never turned down on a last minute birthday cake for someone or a shower cake because I think having cake makes a celebration better and they always had dessert cakes they could transform and always would even if I needed it the same day. I absolutely loved them love the service and loved the cake. Last year on my son's birthday I spent twice what I had spent just sixpence before on a cake that was even bigger than the one I was buying. It was so expensive that I nearly canceled my order but ended up going ahead and ordering it just to have them messed the order up they finally gave me some free cupcakes which really didn't do much because it was more of the way I was treated. Today I called To order a last-minute birthday cake and was told they had too many wholesale orders to make a dessert cake with no decoration. I'm very sad to say I will not call them next time for any reason.

It is a little pricey for a bakery, but you get what you pay for! The cupcakes are just heavenly!! The cookies are amazing, and I'll never buy a birthday cake anywhere else!! Best cupcakes in the River Valley!

Horrible experience. They didn't make my cake or cupcakes. They also refused to give me a refund. I had to file a claim with PayPal.
