Maralegre - Valparaiso

Visits with a friend on recommendation while in Valparaiso. Small warning, there is no parking nearby. With this page, it is a picturesque little restaurant with magnificent views over Valparaiso. The staff was impeccable and English was fine. The food was enthusiastic about the kidnapping to the dessert. Extremely relaxing location and very enjoyed, only in the surroundings after the meal. Definitely recommend.

Our hotel in Viña del Mar recommended a visit. We showed up half an hour before they opened and this was not a problem. We neither had a reservation but they fixed a table for us at the terrace and we had a drink while looking at the menu and waiting for the kitchen to open. The waiter was excellent and made good recommendations on what to eat. Lovely view. As it was a sunny day we were offered to borrow sun hats which we accepted. Highly recommended!

I have never heard from this place before until a friend from US stayed at the hotel and invited me for dinner. I had the best salmon I have ever tried and the most pleasant evening. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the service of the waiters (Harvey and Francisco) was outstanding. I would totally return with friends coming to visit me. The restaurant makes me feel very proud of my home town.

This Restaurant is a hidden gem in the middle of Valparaiso. Take a seat outside, have a drink and let view rest your worries while the exceptionally courteous waiters serve you fantastic food. Really absolutely amazing place. P.S. Sorry I ate half the food before I took a picture. Honestly you try taking a picture of your food when it 's this delicious... Have fun and enjoy smiley face
