Teriyaki Madness - Valparaiso

I enjoy getting food from this place whenever I'm nearby. I ordered a spicy chicken bowl with broccoli online, but received a call from the restaurant informing me that they were out of broccoli. No worries—the staff went above and beyond to make it right. I really love this restaurant!

When I first entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and the delightful aroma of the food. Once I sat down at my table, I found the food to be quite good—cooked perfectly, neither undercooked nor overcooked. The orange chicken was my favorite dish, and the service was very friendly. I will definitely be returning for another visit!

I ordered a regular bowl with half orange chicken and half teriyaki, which came with a $2.50 upcharge, brown rice, and veggies. However, I received only orange chicken with white rice and veggies instead. Considering I was the only customer in line, it's perplexing how they could have made such a significant mistake.

First time here and very impressed! The food was really good. Everything, especially the veggies, looked and tasted very fresh! The sauces were also really good and tied the bowls together. Persephone was our server/cook and was extremely helpful! They explained the options and answered all of our questions which made ordering very easy. The place itself was clean including the bathroom (single-toilet bathrooms) and the atmosphere was nice. Lots of natural light and space between tables so it wasn’t cramped at all. I highly recommend the katsu chicken with white rice!

Great food enjoyed the teriyaki chicken bowl. I highly recommend checking this place out. Persephone was welcoming and friendly.
