Starting with the slight negatives, 1) there was a bit of a wait, even thought we were there pretty early on a Saturday, and 2) the dining room was very loud it was sometimes hard for us to hear each other right across the table. The positives: 1) the service was friendly and very prompt, and 2) the food was excellent I had the oyster stew (probably the best I've ever had) and a blackened haddock sandwich that was superb, and 3) the beer on tap was nice and cold!

Do not let the good food fool you! (In my book being a kind person is more important. I could not believe that I witnessed a server yelling and cussing at a hostess. Not only is that absurd but she could care less that there were customers around. Bad business. We will not return and will tell our friends the same!

We just had the best tasting, fat fall crabs, from the Foxy Fish this evening. We ate outside and the server was outstanding and the highway was not distracting from the evening. I would highly recommend the Foxy Fish for crabs or one of their other fresh hometyle seafood dishes.

Stopped going because of poor service. They just don't seem to have enough staff, even posting a notice saying such. Too bad because the food is very good and prices are decent.

Went there for the First/Last time 8/4/2022. got there about 5;45, seated in the back room, temp. was 76 degrees, no Fans (i know the temp because we were seated next to the thermostat. order our food. (Fried Fish and Steamed Shrimp) Ready to Leave at 6:40 (STILL NO FOOD or updates from server). Finally food shows up. Server says that they are short handed.. (SO that just became my problem) Steamed shrimp was cold, onion rings over cooked, fish was under cooked. Manager came over asked how everything was. so i told them, then Owner/manager came over, gave me a list of why This became my problem, (short staffed/ she had been at work since 6;00 am and wont get off until10;00 pm. bla bla bla.. We spent $120.00 of hard earned money. even if the food was good, small portions and over priced.. will not go back...
