The Sardine Can - Vallejo

The Sardine Can is already there as long as I can remember, so it's probably more than 50 years old, IDK, but I went to the waterfront when I was a child and it was then. Always had a good reputation and a wonderful view of the water. Great Food and Professional Staff with GREAT Attitude... I had many a wonderful night and a few better mornings, they never kicked me out... Love this place!!!

Good clam chowder bowl a little smaller than I thought it would be..they have outdoor seating so I was able to bring my little dog in his stroller. (Always a plus) Boyfriend had a mushroom cheese burger and had really great charbroiled flavor...it was really good. Also they have a bar there with some speciality drinks. (good list of drinks) they offer, plus beer.

When you finally find this place tucked away in the back parking lot of a marina... what feels like your lost you might ask yourself that 's it ?As you enter you won 't be impressed with new furniture or fancy table prep. But from the moment your greeted to your very first bite you feel like this is the place you been to a thousand times. What a great little dive on the water in Vallejo. Hidden little gem, friendly service food was excellent. Had some really great Cioppino as the breeze from the bay cooled the summer heat. Definitely a go back restaurant for me.

Lovely view! Good casual real food menu, friendly staff, in clean nostalgic and nautical ambiance. It is a bit off the beaten path, but is well worth the trip to find it. It is very close to the Vallejo Marina and parking is typically very easy to find.

Always wanted to try this place. Gorgeous location. Stunning views from inside. Tons of outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. I like how it?s tucked away in the area. Crab melt was super tasty!!! My friend had a patty melt and she enjoyed it.
