Gran Sassiere - VALGRISENCHE

Looking for something to eat we found this restaurant, brightly lit and open. Unfortunately, we were promptly dismissed with the information that we must reserve beforehand. The restaurant was completely empty, all tables were free. Well, you don't want paying guests.

Courtesy and well available. Gentle. We enjoyed excellent tanning polente (with Fontina) with meat cooked in wine (carbonade). I spend the right.

We stopped for lunch with family. Restaurant very simple and handy but clean. Very little choice (two first, two seconds with two contours). Friendly, helpful and fast service.

Returning from the bike tour in Valgrisenche and before continuing our tour, we stopped at this place. A typical 70/80 room with a large stand and tables for groups. She welcomed us a nice girl who offered us the various dishes of the day. We took polenta with the roe which was excellent and abundant. Irrisoria shopping.

The venue is characteristic, opened in May 2019 with a completely new management. The winning formula is that you have to get out of the local sazi, and indeed it is so: the portions would go well for two, especially for the first, but to say it all the dinner is suitable for those who have in anticipation to do sports or heavy work the day after. Congratulations to the new managers who were able to relaunch the place.
