La Cepa Vieja - Valencia

Had lunch in La Cepa Vieja in Valencia and what a treat that was. The food is really good, well made and great quality, enjoyed it very much. They also have an excellent winelist with many small upcoming winemakers, mostly from the Valencia region. The restaurant is run by Cecilia and Raúl, a lovely couple who really enjoy what they are doing and do it well. Prices are very reasonable, both for the food and also for the wine. Highly recommend La Cepa Vieja, it's well located just outside of the old town in Valencia, don't miss going there!

The restaurant only served a tasting menu which was delicious. They asked if we have any allergies at the beginning, but since we don't, we got the standard 4 course meal of the day. Each dish was very tasty and creative. The staff was very friendly, the location nice and clean. A very good experience!

Very nice restaurant with a warm welcome. I cannot thank the staff enough for putting up with my poor Spanish! They made a great effort to translate the menu for me and I am so glad they did. The food was tasty and fresh, not a drop of meat near my plate and i really did not miss the meat. They had managed to make vegetables the star of the show! They had a menu which i think changes daily, options are limited but not an issue for me. Give it a visit and have a treat!

Un ambiente muy agradable, gran variedad de vinos con muy buenos consejos para maridar con una comida sabrosa, no excesiva, con un menú cerrado pero muy bien llevado. El precio final acorde con todo lo que pedimos.

Menú con productos de temporada. Atención excelente y buen vino. El sabor del arroz de verduras es espectacular. La fachada del local no representa lo que te encuentras dentro.
