Westside Cafe - Vail

I had some trouble locating this restaurant because the address didn't match what Google was showing. After asking for directions, I found it next to the Holiday Inn. The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly, seating us promptly when we arrived for our reservation.

The bacon-wrapped tater tots were absolutely delicious! Our waitress was attentive and friendly; I get the feeling she might be a snowboarder when she's not working at the café—she had that kind of vibe. We really enjoyed our meals and would definitely return.

We saw several reviews claiming that this restaurant was special, so we had high hopes. Unfortunately, the only memorable part of our visit was sitting through an afternoon thunderstorm while we ate. The barbecue sauce seemed store-bought, the coleslaw was rough and bland, and the fish tacos were nothing to write home about. On a positive note, the Sweaty Betty beer was excellent.

The waitresses are amazing at the Westside Cafe. They all work very well together to make sure your needs are being met. We all enjoyed our meals from the Veggie Eggs Benedict to the Strawberry Chicken Salad. We'd definitely go there again.

Westside Cafe is great for what it does--good food at good prices. The waitstaff is personable and attentive. The menu has sufficient variety to satisfy everyone's needs/desires.
