Simple restaraunt, with tank filled with live King Crabs , pick your own out of the tank boiled & served with rice & salad we choose to have a mixed seafood plate for an extra 150 pesos , the crab is delivered to your table with a pair of scissors to cut up your crab ,, yum yum
Place was recommended by our hotel, Alto Andino, and we loved it. Went their 3 times & had nothing but the famous local king crab - in different ways/different dishes. Only problem was too much food/servings were too big. We also considered prices were a little high for South America, but suppose it's mainly tourists who eat there, not locals. We'd certainly recommend this place for good food & service.
Had meals here one was very good the other very average. I think the food (and service) vary greatly. DO ASK what's fresh before you decide to eat there!! We saw them bringing frozen fish and crab legs in since they...were apparently OUT OF the fresh!!!!!!!!!!!! Check before you eat!
We had to reserve a table here as it was so busy. Some of our party had king crab mains and others had salmon. All nicely cooked and presented. Decent wine list too. Small but buzzy restaurant. We were the last to leave...
