The Funky Cow - Urbandale

My family all tried to put the taste of ice cone. It is vanilla soft serve ice cream with infused with your choice of extra taste. My wife said the butter pecan she had was really good. I had a strawberry (excellent) and then I tried the peanut butter (not as good as it sounded) then I got another strawberry cone to go. This is a great little ice cream compound. Very affordable. I recommend you try this place.

Ally and Taylor are amazing at this job! She was very quick with the order as well as very friendly this is my go to place from now on! Taylor is just as fast and is such a sweet heart! I hope Ally or Taylor never leave this business! I asked her if she knew the owners she had said yes she is my best friend! I proceeded to tell her that they need to run their own ice cream shop together! Best ice cream place I’ve been too in over 30 years!! Kudos Lady’s! Look forward to coming back!! This place was so clean when I came in Ally was cleaning her heart away! So very impressed! I have so much more to say but will save it for them to hear in person from me!

Super convenient, local soft serve joint. I like the small town vibe it gives off. Pretty sure this location was a DQ at some point so if you like that, you’ll like this place. It’s really nothing fancy at all, but I will say the one shining factor of this place is how a small cone is the same amount of ice cream as a large, the only thing that changes is the size of the vessel it’s put into.

Yummy soft serve with infusions of flavors if desired! I had caramel sundae, delicious caramel. Daughter had turtle sundae, again delicious toppings, fresh and correct tastes. Son-in-law had the most amazing caramel apple sundae with apple infused soft serve! Unique tasted just like a Caramel apple!

The girls working were really sweet and didn't pressure my 2 year old to hurry and make a decision. The ice cream was really good and my daughter loved her sprinkle covered ice cream.
