Sparky's Freddie's Pizzeria - Urbana

The quality has declined since your move. When will you be reuniting?

Having lived in the area for nearly two years now, I've been on the hunt for a great pizza. I placed my order over the phone and picked it up at their drive-thru (though the outside of the restaurant could use a bit of improvement). As for the food itself, it was just okay. There was nothing particularly special about the pizza; it lacked the essentials that make a pizza truly great, such as a flavorful sauce and a tasty crust. We tried the ATW (All The Works) pizza, which had a nice variety and was generous with the toppings. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and hot wings, but once again, everything was just average. I will say that the food looked quite appealing, and I recognize that taste can be subjective. Perhaps I'm a bit spoiled from enjoying pizza in Cleveland's Little Italy, where there are fantastic Italian restaurants. You might really enjoy it, but I'm still searching for that exceptional pizza.

Having worked in customer service myself, I understand that everyone has their off days. Unfortunately, the young lady at the window seemed to be having a rough night. I hope things improved for her. Thanks again for the wonderful pizza!

I live out of town but we drove up to Urbana just for the taco pizza. It was delicious as always. I haven't had them in years but it still tastes just good as 5 years ago the last time I had it.

You can no longer go in and eat at there pkace where they serve food where you could at there old place and there what they have set up for picking up your order needs work to say the very least, was a half hour late with no real clear direction where to park ,the parking was an absolute mess!!!
