Rose Bowl Tavern - Urbana

The Rose Bowl, “The Home of Country Music”, is a real gem. You have big beers on tap both local and other Afield. The fleet selection is top shelf and the bar offers are like old friends. The facility has been for years and is just getting better. They have live music almost every night, most country themes, not radio country, but real country, western and blue grass. It's great. They also make other music, but it is the “Home of Country Music”. So you're not far away unless the band/artist is really good and at this point it's a bonus to see something you didn't expect, but is amazing.

If you want live music in Urbana, this is the place. You always have something to do. Sometimes they also find events like a vampire Masquerade recently. The bar offers are wheel and know their drinks. They also do outdoor shows in summer. One of the best bars for live music in the city. My personal favorite.

Live music every single day! This place has been offering it since 1946. I attended school here in the 1980s and had no idea it existed—I really missed out. They also have a great selection of beers. I will definitely return!
