I generally do not rate fast food places because my expectations are usually pretty low. It’s fast food. This location though, deserves zero stars. For starters, the service is extremely slow you will be sitting in the drive thru forever. Almost makes you think they have to go kill the chicken and peel the potatoes. Speaking of the food, it is not great. The biscuits are not fluffy (they are dry), the fries are either too salty or undercooked, and where is the coleslaw that is supposed to go on the BBQ chicken sandwiches. Just go to Popeyes next door.
The manager was fantastic Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Breast, Gravy, Wings
Since we now live in St. Mary's County, we don't get to frequent Bojangles often, unless we're in the area. This would be my 2nd visit to this particular location, and they've been out of Chicken Supremes. Anyone who knows me, knows I've been going to Bojangles since I was pregnant with my 18 year old, so having Chicken Supremes on deck is critical lol. The staff was rather friendly, even when I had to take my Chicken tender meal back inside, due to its toughness and my fries were stale tasting. If I'm being completely transparent, even the 2nd round of food I received, was not up to par . It was pretty disheartening, and especially with me being in my 3rd trimester, I was so looking forward to having my taste buds satisfied . Personally, the tenders taste nothing like the Supremes, as some would suggest or hint at. Idk if I need to hang it up with Bojangles for a time or for good, but I just really, really hope they pull it together. The one in Waldorf closed down several years ago, and I went there almost daily during my lunch, I just don't want the same thing to happen to the one in Upper Marlboro . I really do appreciate the kindness of the staff though, forgive me for not recalling both lady's names .
The best part about this place is the staff! Really nice and friendly! But the food??? What the...... Had a 2 piece chicken meal with sides. The chicken seemed to have been fried days ago and then refried to warm it up. Biscuit was meh. Coleslaw was dry. The rice was OK. My daughter had a chicken sandwich. She took one bite and was disgusted. I took a bite and spit it out! It tasted weird like it was fried and then frozen and then fried again. We ended up throwing everything away except our Bo Berry biscuits! We left there and went across the street to Popeyes.
