Narrows Plaza Bowl - University Place

Great place to bowl. Lanes are great and the girl in the back really keeps this place running! She needs a raise!

I love bowling but the Lanes here either need updating or the maintenance is just inconsistent. I have a 180 avg at any bowling alley in Tacoma except Narrows. I average 125 Narrows. I have my own ball, which is good cause the balls to choose from are beat up. There is an even smaller selection of bowling balls if you have bigger fingers. I have a boy who has practice 3x a week close to the bowling alley. Was hoping to spend a couple of those practice days working on my bowling score!! Not with the inconsistencies I've experienced.

I went to the WIAA girls tournament and it’s disappointing to hear that they’re shutting down.

We had a great time at this place for our work Christmas party! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the bowling lanes were in excellent condition. It’s also a fantastic spot to bring the family. I recently hosted a birthday gathering there, and the team was incredibly helpful. The arcade adds an extra layer of fun, making it a delightful outing with friends and family. We visited on a Friday night, and it was an enjoyable experience overall!
