フィードバックを提供するThe food is ok here. I got the rib plate and my kids each got a Mac n cheese kids meal. The fries and potatoes were so so. The ribs were good and the corn had no flavor and needed butter. We also tried the butter beer and the green fizzy drink. The green drink was just ok and it had popping blueberry boba. The butter beer was amazing which is why I am giving 4 stars. I loved the butter beet. You can get it cold, frozen, or hot. We got it cold. I want to come back and try the frozen. We also tried the butter beer desert which was way too much sugar.
The hotel is located in Universal Studios in Harry Potter. It was at 1:00 and my family and I (Party of 14) was hungry and ready for lunch. It rained and we were so energy-saving that we didn't want to look for another place. My family is the guy who is so indecision and just go with everything someone chooses. I was a handful of times at Universal Studios and never tried this place, so I suggested it as we were right in front of him and it seems to be a big thinning area for all of us to sit and enjoy our meal. There was a line when we entered, but there was a worker who controlled the traffic and asked how many people were in our party and ordered the parties into different registers. After the order we had to come to another line with the same registration number we had ordered. My husband and I ordered the fish and chips and herbs roasted chicken litter. He waited for about 10min, as others waited before us. They have a self-serving concentration and utensils area on the side. Before the entrance of the Dinning area there is another worker who asks how many are in your party and you sit. There were so many of us that they had to share our party. They gave us a high chair for my toddler. When you look at the food presentation, it was not all compared to what they were advertising. But the food was delicious. The chicken was very humid and well seasoned. The fish and chips were perfectly fried. The parts were a good size. Our meal was very full and surprisingly very good. I would definitely return. The workers were nice and they worked fast during lunchtime traffic and tried to keep things organized and clean.
One of the better places to dine at Universal. My family of 5 ordered the Great Feast and it was enough for us! It had roasted chicks and reserve ribs, and the vegetables that came with it was super fresh and delicious! Something I would do myself at home. I always feel that when a restaurant tries to make the vegetables right, the rest of the meal should be good. And that was it! The family enjoyed it even though the chicken was something on the dry side. The price was fair for what you get. And if you want some adult drinks, they have some beer options. The food took a while. Since my son is in a wheelchair, they asked that he first went to a table while one of us ordered food. It worked because we found an electric exit at the table to load his chair while we waited. For dessert we have butterberry ice cream. It tasted like vanilla. I say skip it.
The food seems pricy for what it is...I guess you're really paying for the experience. Expect to wait for your food for a bit and if you can't find any tables inside then head outside. It seems like they are frequently out of the turkey leg even when they are selling turkey legs at the other locations...if you end up getting turkey leg here just don't expect it to taste like Disneyland's turkey legs. The ones they sell here are a bit on the dry side and less salty...it's like a healthier version of Disneyland's turkey legs.Pumpkin juice tastes like apple juice with lots of cinnamon. If you don't like the taste of butter beer then this is definitely a better alternative for a Harry Potter theme drink. The shepherd's pie was small and sad looking...I don't see myself ordering this again in the future. The ribs plate was surprisingly good. The meat was falling off the bones. The portion seems pretty big considering the three of us shared the rib plate and left feeling satisfied.I wish they would bring back the prime rib back!
Waited 1 hour just to finally get to the register and hear that half the menu is gone. I always eat here when I visit the park, although my last full-day visit was quite a while ago. It was a busy day, but not too busy, so hearing that almost half the menu was gone by 1 pm on a Saturday was a bit of a shock. They were out of fish and chips and the turkey leg, two things I considered ordering, so I got the herb-roasted chicken. It was okay. Not my first choice. We went back around 9 pm for some dessert: a cold butterbeer and butterbeer ice cream. For $7-8, the ice cream presentation could be a little better. It's not scooped up. The ice cream comes in a little cup like the ones that come with a wooden spoon but without a spoon. I satisfied my sweet tooth by making my own butterbeer float by dipping my ice cream into my butterbeer. Theme park food will always be a bit pricey. Quite an underwhelming experience. At least there are plenty of tables.
