Looked like they just opened. The plate looked just like the pictures which hardly happens! The crew members an older lady and young kid were so quick! Serving amount on point. Will be back to this location .
Panda Express is a Chinese restaurant fast-food chain in Universal Studios Hollywood for Chinese standards, including some health-conscious options. We visited this place during our second Universal Studios Hollywood trip. They have plenty of options like Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Sichuan Hot Chicken, and many more. The food was average and there?s nothing to say about the price of the food at the theme parks like Universal Studios Hollywood (it?s always a bit high). The inside of this place was clean enough. The customer service was appreciable.
Limited options--no vegan entrees. Just spring rolls, rice, and perhaps the veggie sushi, which is ok.
Had lunch here today while visiting Universal. Much better selection than in the park and cheaper too! My sister and I shared the 3 item combo. We had the orange chicken, black pepper chicken (my sister 's choice-she likes spicy), and teriyaki sauce. Our side was chow mein. You can get 1/2 chow mein and 1/2 rice or veggies if you want. Panda is located on the upper level of City Walk and takes a few minutes to get there from Universal. Also there is Pinks, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Subway, Poke, and Smash Burger. There is plenty of sitting on different levels. Partial shade. My sister was super happy to see the black pepper chicken. It wasn 't listed on the menu. The price for the 3 item combs was just under $10. An excellent deal for lunch for 2! Unfortunately the food was just warm, not hot. Maybe they need to bump up the temp of the water under the trays? A few things... this was the first time that the server, at Panda, didn 't chop up the chicken teriyaki after I ordered. She picked out already small pieces from the dish of larger pieces. Also she did not ask if I wanted sauce on top and when I asked for it she said it would be better on the side. Hmm? Also the Orange Chicken had a few pieces that were stuck to gather making for one very large piece of chicken. Also a personal negative for me this Panda had Pepsi products. I like Diet Coke. If they don 't have it I get water-non bottled. I would return to this location again, however, if the food isn 't hot, I will return it next time.
Only space in universal studios where you get what you expect in taste. But a plate for $16? Also remember that the menu options here are very limited 5 6 options available with spring rolls and egg rolls as pages
