Ben Jerry’s - Universal City

The ice cream was delicious, but unfortunately, the service was lacking, which seems to be a common complaint on this page. I visited on 5/14/23 and inquired about purchasing pints, as this location is listed on the main Ben and Jerry's page as offering them for takeout. Instead of a simple apology, I received a curt and dismissive response from the employee serving the ice cream. Overall, it was not worth my time.

The staff at this restaurant seemed socially awkward and uncomfortable while interacting with customers. It was difficult to watch, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for both the staff and the customers. Whoever was responsible for hiring them should not be in charge of selecting new employees in the future.

The location of the restaurant is excellent and the ice cream was delicious, but the customer service was terrible. We felt hurried by the girl working the afternoon shift on December 30, 2022. I have been to other locations where the atmosphere was much more welcoming. Even the other employee working with her had a better attitude. The tone was abrupt and rushed. I will choose to go to other locations in the future. There are many more things to do at CityWalk than to be served ice cream with such an attitude. I hope the staff receives better training in customer service to prevent this from happening again.

If it's icecream, it has to be Ben Jerry's. Salted caramel blondie a must try.

Of the handful of ice cream shops that are in the area, this one never fails to keep me coming back. My most recent trip was with my close friend and her daughter. First off, the customer service was friendly and the store was clean. The staff had lots of smiles for us and my friend's little girl, which made the experience so much more welcoming. And, it goes without saying that Ben Jerry's ice cream has some of the best and unique flavors around. The Cherry Garcia and Chunky Monkey for my latest trip was fresh and delicious. I will keep coming (and bringing friends and family) for the all-around great experience!
