Shang Hai Chinese - Universal City

Had the sweet and sour pork. It was good but only vegetables were carrots and cucumbers? No onion . Egg drop soup was flavorless and served with no crunchy noodles?

Although I don't live in the area, this restaurant is a family favorite for us. My daughter lives nearby and is a regular guest. The staff always welcomes us with a smile and excellent service. They are quick with refills and clearing dishes, and the food is consistently hot and delicious. As a former waitress, I know the importance of attentive service, and they always deliver. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly. It's a great spot for delicious Chinese food at a reasonable price. Overall, a delightful dining experience every time.

I've heard about this restaurant for some time and I'm so happy to report that the food was even better than I was told. My wife had the sweet and sour pork and I had the Kung Pao chicken. Both were superb and the rice and egg roll and soups were just as good. Definitely be back again to try some other items.
