フィードバックを提供するAs someone who frequents this store, especially right before I start my workday, I found the situation particularly frustrating. On one occasion, while a friendly young African American employee was helping me bag my groceries, the Caucasian woman approached to assist. I thought nothing of it at first, but when I had a question about a few grocery items not reflecting the discounted price with my Kroger member number, her response was surprisingly hostile. It felt as if I was bothering her, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that she was singling me out based on my race. I left feeling incredibly disrespected and disgusted by the interaction. It prompted me to bring my experience to the attention of the manager, but unfortunately, they did not address the issue adequately. It seemed like the manager ignored the situation completely. I believe Kroger needs to reevaluate their employees, especially those who display rudeness, disrespect, and potential racial bias towards customers. Shoppers like myself are spending our hard-earned money in this store, and we deserve to be treated with respect. I encourage other customers to share their experiences, as it’s essential for the management to be aware of these issues.
Once I got to my car, I realized that one of the items I bought had been scanned multiple times, and one of my digital coupons hadn’t been applied. I returned to customer service to resolve the issue, and Nellie came over to look into it, although no one had asked for her assistance. I was already discussing the matter with a customer service employee, and everything was fine. Her intervention, especially after she had treated me poorly at the register, made me feel as though I was in the wrong. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal. As a regular customer at this location, I’m quite disappointed. I think I will have to look for a new grocery store.
Kroger has a bit of a rough atmosphere, and they were out of distilled water during my visit.
Never has shopping carts in the store. Always the excuse of short-handed and 95% of employees have TERRIBLE attitudes, INCLUDING management!
Reminded why I don’t shop here, other than treating customers like criminals you all have a huge price discrepancy problem. In an order of only 14 items TWO items were priced more than they were advertised for. That’s 14 percent of my shopping items were priced wrong. Then I had to wait 10 minutes for an override that never came. Trash.
