However, it started to rain, and we were only able to ride once or twice before they closed it due to the weather. Being responsible, we asked for a refund, but the manager was dismissive, walking away and saying it wasn't his concern and that he had no control over the weather. He was quite rude, treating us more like a nuisance than customers.
Prices were reasonable, but definitely needs a facelift. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
It was so nice to be back at the Pond. My family has been CL’ers since ‘31. In my lifetime, the (Frog) Pond has been our go to. Tonite's dinner did not disappoint! The roast beef smothered in home made gravy w/ a jus, crispy fries was perfect. Thank you Terri! So glad the aquariums, greasy looking frogs and red drapes are gone. They had their run. It’s a new day! See you soon ! Service: Dine in
One more thing: why do so many places with a bar not offer actual lime juice? Not the sweetened stuff or lime slices, just plain regular lime juice would be great. At this point, I can't recommend the restaurant. As for parking, there are plenty of spots in a gravel/dirt lot, and it’s on the ground floor, so it's easy to access with a wheelchair since the doors are wide.
I visited this restaurant five years ago and had a fantastic experience, so I was determined to return. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. It took an incredibly long time for our food to arrive, and the waitress seemed very confused. This place has so much potential, but it really missed the mark this time.
