Sauk Trail Grille - Union

The food was excellent, full of flavor, and there was a great selection of meats to choose from. My only complaint is that they don't offer any local beer on tap, just craft beer. I would really prefer a Bud!

The BBQ is decent, but there's inconsistency in the experience. They focus on the details in certain areas while neglecting others. The service staff frequently changes, which suggests a lack of direction from management. Additionally, service without a smile is not very enjoyable.

This place needs to update their info on the internet. They have added a smoker in the last year that has given them the ability to rival anyones smoked foods within hundreds of miles. They need to work on the rest of the menu, which looks like they are working on, but the smoked meat is worth the drive. They also have some good micro brews on tap to go with the pulled pork and ribs.

That's not just any barbecue place; this is the best BBQ within at least a one to two-hour drive. They serve smoked meat instead of the usual cooked meat slathered in greasy ketchup. The beer selection is also fantastic.

This place has the best bungalows on her sandwiches I've ever had! I tried all the others eating and everything was delicious. plus, the waiting staff was so sweet. They make it a point to remember their names when they come back....definately the best food in the opposite! thanks. mark.
