One of the top meals this year of cooking is half the experience

Visited the place tonight. Great atmosphere, nice. Very polite and well-mannered waitresses, but inexperienced. Now to the sad part. Some of us ordered the 3 dish summer menu with pork. For one of us the meat was not done, still red. It did not taste good to begin with and was sent back to the kitchen. It did not taste better at all on return, really disgusting actually. Tasted rancid. Two people got stomachflu from consuming the food. One allergic person got a food induced reaction despite insurances that it did not contain any allergens. This persons meat was also too well done. Overall the meat dishes were really low standard. Maybe the chef had a really bad day but we have tried Bistro Le Garage for the last time, which really is a pity because it should have the potential of being great.
