Whataburger - Tyler

This is my least favorite Whataburger in town. The service has become incredibly slow, and after my recent experience, I will make an effort to avoid this location in the future. I waited in line, and when it was finally my turn to order, the gentleman informed me that the gas company was doing some work next door and they couldn't take my order unless I was willing to wait 10-15 minutes. There were no cars behind me; they could have taken one more order before closing the line.

I stopped by for a quick snack and ordered two medium white chocolate raspberry shakes and two medium fries. The shake was just okay—it tasted more like a regular vanilla shake than anything special. The fries, on the other hand, were heavily salted. But here’s the kicker: the total came to $13.42! I could have gone to Longhorn Steakhouse and had an amazing burger lunch for just $8.99!

Words can not describe the frustration I have with this location. First issue I had was after ordering a #13 chicken strips meal with a sweet tea I was handed my food and drink out of the drive thru window only to realize, there is no chicken : Onlyfries, gravy, and toast. I did not complain as I?ve worked in the food industry and understand how it can be. I go back tothis establishment today, 7/29/22 @2:00pm, with A Mobile App order #13 Chicken Strip Meal with Sweet Tea, I get to the window anasked by the Young Blonde Lady ?did you order the?.. or the mobile order?. ?Mobile order? I replied. I get handed a drink anda bag? I figured my chicken was in the bag so I get to work and unpack the bag to find A Chicken Sandwich, and my drink is not asweet tea it is a Diet Pepsi.

They do an excellent job. The staff is always friendly, and the food is served hot and flavorful.

The sweet tea was good but the hamburgers honestly lack any bit of flavor or moisture whatsoever it's like eating a piece of cardboard that someone forgot to season. We're not even going to get into the fries I've never gotten hot fries like not evenonce you think after 45 minutes of waiting in a take out line of 5 cars the food would be worth the wait but it's not. Thebanana pudding shake is bussin! So 2 stars just for the bomb shake.
