Corner Bakery Cafe - Tyler

Corner bakery is usually my way to lunch, but the last time I ordered lunch for me and staff of turkey tasted and looked awful. It used to be a good quality shaved turkey. I tried to contact the company to see if this is the new standard and they never came into contact with me again. I don't know what else they changed, but hopefully it's just the turkey. Don't order turkey here. It tastes like a kind of cheap deli bologna.

I ordered the Club Panini with Caesar Salat as a side; my wife ordered a chicken parini (I don't know the name with a cup of broccoli cheese soup that she would share with our daughter. Eating is complicated for us: our adult daughter will eat only a few things, one of which and the only on the menu in this restaurant is Broccoli cheese soup. My sandwich was very tasty I especially liked the way the ingredients with a sourdough bread that tasted like sourdough (too many bread I have seen, called sourdough taste like pure white bread. My only complaint was that the sandwich fell apart before I even noticed it. But that's not a problem that I just put it together. The Caesar salad was good. Some restaurants have recently been on their Caesar Dressing (for my health? but this place has done a lot. My wife said her sandwich was also happy. But the soup... Our daughter ate a few (ok, maybe three spoons of soup and stop. She said it didn't taste right. It had some broccoli in it, but no taste of cheese. My wife also tried and agreed not to taste cheese. My wife's suggestion was that they could try to save money by using a cheap canned cream of the Broccoli soup that only thinks of cheese.

Corner Bakery has always been quality. My wife and I can't think of a time they've ever made an order in two years. Great location, staff and food. Also when ordering for delivery. One in our book. My wife LOVES the chicken bio soup! Everyone is very nice. Food: 5/5

I'm going to the harvest salad. It's delicious, but I wish they had feta to turn off the blue cheese. Service is always efficient and employees are nice. Food: 5/5
