We wanted to go to Louise's place, at the bar, at Legion, and I'm glad we were. When you went the ramp to the restaurant, you felt like you were walking into one of those places where you know you had only good food. You have a nice selection of sandwiches and other lunches as well as ice cream and sweet desserts. The prices were very reasonable, we met the owners who were busy serving food, they were also very nice. Louise's will definitely be our first choice if you are looking for a place to eat in two ports! Btw, I don't joke to be the only facility that is just a few minutes walk from the train station, the legion, the castle danger brewery don't serve food, and the pizza place is not open while the train is there, you can take the shuttle, but then miss in sight seeing in the depot. So skip the shuttle and go to Louise's and have the meat store sandwich it was great!
Louise's Place is a great local restaurant offering handmade breads of scratches, ingenious day specialties (Bangers and Mash!) and an amazing deep wrench atmosphere! Dan and Marsha are really fantastic and the other staff are there. Enjoy a cup of coffee with one of Marsha's delicious dessert bars or have an egg and cheese treat! Breakfast and lunch will not disappoint. If you plan a wedding or event that requires catering... check with Louise's! I just had my wedding and the food they made was PHENOMENAL! We had delivered 191 guests and Louise's to the highest degree! They were professional, quality and super fair with pricing. WAY better than your commercial Caterers (Nothing against Blackwoods, Duluth Grill, etc.). There is so much more I want to say, but the fact of the thing is pure and to see itself! If you need catering, I would recommend the slowly roasted beef in lock cream danger ale gravy... delicious! Our guests thought the food was fantastic. Some of the best they ever had at a wedding!
The carmel rollers were the best! Thanks for the idea Kara!!! (Skip the tradition and try this... so good!
Love this place! I tend to get either the veggie nachos or the Louise's club. So good. Can't go wrong with the cinnamon roll or caramel roll either.
I love Louise's Place. They have the best cinnamon rolls in the world! And excellent pasties and sloppy joes! And did I mention the sugar cookies...? YUM!
