フィードバックを提供するHands down, the best poke I had in OC. Perhaps a bit more expensive and small part, but the quality of the ingredients and freshness of the fish is more than making for it. Dried rice is great and they give a lot of avocado. Garlic ponzu is also great. I love this place
TLDR: Fantastic Poke Bowls, Musubi is delicious. Would recommend HIGHLY. Full review: Always had the best poke here. Fish is sushi degree and not lower sushi degree, so its phenomenal compared to other Poke places I tried in the area. They have fantastic unagi musubi (one of my favorite menu options) and I even have random combinations from their own menu and every time it was wonderful. I recently tried her softshell crab musubi and made available to her herself, with the sauce, or with a small lemon juice it is phenomenal. I love this place and always suggest when my friends go arent safe where to go food when we can.
I liked this place so much I ate here 4 days straight when I was visiting my big sis in the OC. I've been disappointed with the Poke scene in San Diego and this place was so refreshing and offered quality food. They are like the Which Wich of Poke, build your own bowl by crossing out what you want on the menu and submit the order, simple, and easy. What stood out was the fried egg and taro chip toppings! I love the taro chip with the poke instead of rice if you want to feel like your eating healthier. The presentation looks artsy and colorful too so made it very appealing to eat. I'll be heading back to the OC this weekend and will def make a few pit stops here.
I been to a lotof poke shops and for $9 this place gives you a very small bowl. Don't get me wrong food is good but the portion size is not. Front service person was very friendly! Definitely doesn't hate her job as previous reviewer suggested
Next, you can add up to five different toppings. I find the corn to be sweet and delicious, and they offer a wide variety of toppings. I do wish imitation crab was included in the options, but it's available as an add-on. I also noticed that seaweed salad wasn’t on the list, which is typically one of my favorites in poke. Overall, the prices are reasonable, the fish is fresh, and the bowls are quite filling. On nice days, I love to sit outside to enjoy my meal.
