Denny's - Tumwater

I was a bit disappointed by my Super Bird Sandwich The bacon was super thin and vaccinated. Not much turkey or tomatoes. But our service was great! It was my sister's birthday. She had the breakfast dishes with coffee and my other sis had the Bourbon Sauce Burger, onion rings and a strawberry shaker. They were both satisfied with their food. Our sides of the frits and onion rings were delicious and sufficient. As with most places, prices have risen. But I got 15% of our ticket with the AARP card so that helped. What about $3,50 for coffee? I stayed with water. We wondered why there is no handicap help to open the door? Seems necessary where so many seniors go to eat...

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. It was very clean and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The food was excellent. We will definitely return to this place. I was more than happy to leave a tip given the fantastic service and pleasant atmosphere. Great job, everyone!

Woooow this location was amazing... I love the crew here from top to bottom... I'm a truck driver from North Carolina and this place made me feel at home... the food was great... thanks.

I have to confess that I haven't visited a Denny's in quite a while and had low expectations. I thought it would just be the usual budget meal options. However, I decided to try something from the building itself. Our waitress, Shawna, was really helpful; she informed me that what I had ordered was a menu item that would actually be cheaper than the special. The food arrived quickly, hot, and just as I had ordered. We never had to ask for refills or even a box for leftovers. I was very impressed.

I enjoyed the pancakes and eggs, but the gravy was poorly mixed and had some clumps in it. I sympathize with the staff—they're doing their best to keep everyone safe despite being short-staffed. Many of the employees have only been there for a few months, and they had to close today due to a lack of personnel. If you or someone you know is looking for a job, I encourage you to reach out to them, as I've always liked dining here. This Denny's is one of five I’ve visited in the area. I gave it a 4-star rating because of the staffing issues, but I recognize that the chef did an admirable job with the limited staff available at the time.
