We came across this place after visiting ruined by tulum, ordered tacos and fraught, prices are really reasonable, not too expensive, our tacos were ok ... and that is the problem that they only okey I expected more from authenthic Mexican restaurant, on the other side ive seen pizzen by people sat table next to us ordered and they looked really good. my review of this restaurant is : good, not very good as I have presented ) but it does not deserve average either as the owner was really nice, polite and the service was quite fast.
After tour the Tulum Mayan Empire Ruins and in our way back to the Tour bus we spotted this unique French Brasserie. The venture has inside seating as well as outside garden seating with a cozy casual atmosphere, great music and modern décor. Later on,...we find that there are locations in Puerto los and Playa del Carmen too. The proverbial Mexican hospitality was present on the kind and friendly attention provide for the staff, Jorge the waiter and Willy the Manager among the other members of that great crew. The unprecedent proposal of this venture was created around sausages of different origins, Mexican, German, Italian, Argentinean, etc.; breads, where the French baguette could not miss and beers. The Menu also extend to Burgers and a French version of pizza – Parizza. Since Pizza and Beer is a great combination, and a fresh beer is mandatory in a hot Caribbean noon, I went for that. The Parizza was awesome and their thin crunchy bread was sublime. Some other on the party try the sausages and they said was spectacular. Absolutely Salciccium is the place to be when around Tulum.
After walking the ruins at Tulum, we stopped into the shopping area. It's hard to try to find a decent place because there is just so much going on and so many options. We wanted to get a cold drink and something to eat. We...spotted a restaurant called Slciccium. It's in the center square but it was hard to spot because the outside is pretty plain with dark glass windows. We didn't even know if it was open. Now needless to say the whole area is jammed packed with tourists like us. We walked into Salciccium and were blown away. It was nice and cold inside with only a couple other people sitting at a table. We ordered some beer and appetizers to tide us over until dinner. The beer was ice cold and the food we ordered was great! When you go to the ruins at Tulum stop in here afterwards to refresh yourself. It's great.
El personal muy amable y el cafe super bien como siempre
