My coworkers and I entered in the warm, colorful sisserou’s on a frosty day for an island cursed and were not disappointed. we started with two appetizers that were fried to perfect the sweet potato chips and fried plantains. everyone tried their unique aromes. the baked chicken dinner was super delicate and seasoned all the way through, like the chicken cure. the Cuban sandwich was very good, with well seasoned pork with delicious Swiss cheese, ham and home mayonnaise. the ruckhuh delivered more a spicy kick, but my favorite part was the crimped, creamy butternut squash suppe that really hit the point at this cold day! Sisserou’s visits with our new foodie group for the first time tonight. we received excellent service, great food and an incredible atmosphere. my wife and I started with plantain poppers as an appetizer. they had a nice, crispy break with fast pop of plantain taste hidden inside. for dinner I had the jerk chicken with red beans and rice and a side spicy mais. the chicken was full of taste and perfectly cooked, in contrast to some places they find over boiled, dry chicken. the jerks had a bit kick, but not too hot. definitiw a well-balanced court. the red beans and tears made a beautiful supplement as well as the spicy mais that was great! we finished the evening with...read more

Best Caribbean food in tulsa. the ruck huh, butternut squash suppe is excellent. also the Cuban sandwich, which is excellent for lunch.

Came in for lunch for the first time. Place is very elegant and nice on the inside. Very festive, ordered the Jerk Chicken entree with Red Beans and rice and friend order the Cuban Sandwich with fries. This is the first time having Jerked chicken and thought it was good. Didn't know what to expect on spicy but was interesting. Red beans and rice were good just wish it was a little hotter temperature wise. My friend said his Cuban sandwich was excellent. Service is excellent and love that they bring a vessel of water for the table. This would be a great place to go for dinner if you in the Brady District.
