Our favorite was definitely the Gnocchi, it was divine (see emptyplate pic, ha! . The plating was beautiful and it was fun to anticipate the next dish. The service was great also! Definitelya pleasant dining experience!
This restaurant has great curb appeal, as it is located in a charming part of town. Inside, there is a pretty sizable bar which doubles as the perimeter for the chef's kitchen area, two interior dining sections, and a large outdoor dining experience outback. The staff was professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Our waitress was delightful and I observed the rest of the crewbeing amiable and helpful with the rest of the guests. The food was well prepared and quite tasty. We left satisfied andhappy. My only critique would be about the interior lighting. It should be adjusted for a more cozy ambiance, in my opinion. It felt a bit like a diner in the front area which certainly does not meet the level of quality this place offers. All inall, Lowood is a true treasure of a place. I will return to sample more of their menu and to enjoy the backyard patio.
Trendy area of east downtown Tulsa that feels like you are somewhere else. We sat at the Chefs bar and enjoyed watching the cooks prepare the food. We had the chefs tasting menu which was amazing food in 5 courses. The service was top notchWe had a amazing expierence at Lowood!
Stunning food and wine, good service, great dining experience.Vegetarian options: Has a vegetarian tasting menu!
Not only does Lowood craft some of the best food you will find in Tulsa, but also it offers one of the most awesome dining experiences you might have in any city. The kitchen sits in the middle of the restaurant, semi-encircled by a shiny gold metal table top and bar seats, referred to as “The Chef’s Counter.” You generally must plan in advance with a reservation but trust me, it will be worth it.We’ve ordered the watermelon salad (spicy but incredible! , Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, burrata, rigatoni, scallop panzanella, and filet with a lobster tail. Every single dish knocked it out of the park and we relished every bite.My only regrets of the entire experience were not ordering everything on the menu and the fact that I do not live close enough to Tulsa to regularly enjoy the Chef’s Counter. I will say with confidence that anytime I make my way back, my agenda will certainly include a meal at Lowood. Bravo!
