The staff at Balcone Italiano went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. It was my mother's 80th birthday and after a disappointing experience at another restaurant, we were welcomed with open arms. Despite being fully booked, the kind woman and the rest of the staff, along with the talented chef, worked hard to accommodate us. The food was delicious and we felt like royalty. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience. We highly recommend Balcone Italiano.

This restaurant is best suited for those who enjoy mediocre food. The pizzas lack authenticity, and the chicken was tough to chew. Combining BBQ sauce, red onion, and pineapple on a pizza is simply embarrassing. The topping combinations for the pizzas were not great overall. The dough was average and lacked airiness, resulting in a crust that was the opposite of nice. However, the restaurant does serve good coffee and the waitstaff is polite and friendly.

I was here with friends for a birthday and ordered a gluten free carbonara. They told me the food was gluten free upon arrival but I am unsure if it was. I had a terrible reaction to the food and it was the reaction that happens when I eat gluten. Was here several times before and ordered pizza and chicken and I never had a reaction. Very poor experience and I will not be back unfortunately which is a pity.

Do not waste your time here because the staff are not attentive. I suggest going to the chipper instead, where at least you will get what you paid for. My partner and I ordered the most expensive items on the menu, expecting a nice steak. We waited for the vegetables to arrive, but they never did. I called a staff member, who checked with the kitchen and returned to inform us that the chef had decided we should not have any vegetables. This was a new and unacceptable experience for us. It seemed that the chef decides what customers receive with their food, regardless of the menu. This completely ruined my dinner and left me very dissatisfied. The manager was nowhere to be found and did not come to our table. We were overcharged and underfed, leaving us extremely disappointed. It's safe to say we will not be returning.

We chose to dine at the Italian restaurant in The Bridge House for Father's Day. We each ordered a starter, which totaled €19.90. The Bruschetta starter was disappointing, with only one slice of ciabatta cut in half, topped with a few tomatoes and served with a side of green salad. It was overcooked and lacked flavor, not worth the high price. While the main course was satisfactory, it was also very expensive. I won't be returning anytime soon, especially not at these prices.
