Italian Peasant - Tubac

Such a cute Italian restaurant in Tubac! We started off with the garlic knots and they came out very hot and fresh! My mom sister and I all ordered different pasta entrees and some wine. The portions are huge, make sure you come hungry!

I highly recommend it! We went to lunch yesterday and one of the staff saw our children unloaded from the car. He had a big table ready to go for us when we got in. My husband ordered Alfredo, which was very good, and we ordered the children a pepperoni pizza that was fantastic. I went on an edge and ordered a burger and pommes and let me tell you the pommes were some of the best we ever had. Everyone at the table wanted something. They were freshly cut and perfectly seasoned. The burger was hotly pierced and perfectly cooked. I told my husband that I think this is the first time that we have eaten and all (including the children) have eaten every bite. Very good food and we're going to definitley go back. We could even make a trip to Tubac to visit this restaurant again.

Good portions and authentic Italian cuisine. A party of 8, we share the bill, but we should have told the waitress if we ordered it. Our bills are mixed. We did not correct it between ourselves after the second attempt by the very friendly waitress. She was such a good waitress that we didn't have the heart to ask her for a third time. I'll go back there!

The food is incredible! Every time we pass through this area, we make sure to stop by. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. The burgers (yes, I mentioned burgers at an Italian restaurant) are fantastic!

The service was great! I highly recommend the Alfredo; it was the best I've ever had. I finished every last bite. However, I wouldn't recommend the grilled chicken.
