Sapporo Sushi - Troy

Came on a Saturday around 7pm, there was no wait and we got a table right away. Ordered a variety of things. Apps: Crab Rangoon (had actual crab), gyoza, and agedashi tofu. All very good. Dinner: hibachi fried rice (good flavor), yaki udon, and jap chae (both pretty salty but flavor was good). Sushi rolls as well. The rice on the sushi was good, flavor and texture, as some places can have mushy rice. The food came out fast and the staff was really friendly.

I went here for dinner and had the Vegetable Teriyaki dish a very familiar dish for me but this restaurant did an especially good job with the variety of vegetables and making sure they were properly cooked and seasoned. Service was high quality and fast, the prices for everything were also reasonable. The manager checked on us midway through our meal to ensure everything was good! It wasn't overly crowded and the music/TV's were not loud, so it was very easy to have conversations at our table. Excellent restaurant!!

I ordered the king salmon, sunshine, and yellowtail rolls. With a side of eel sauce and spicy Mayo it came to $37. Kinda steep for 3 rolls, one of which is a basic roll. The sushi wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. This is my first time trying this restaurant out and I only ordered sushi. I can't speak for the other items on the menu or the atmosphere but from what I ordered it was ok. Not something to write home about.

Was in the mood for carry out today. Ordered Japchae and Spicy Cali Roll. The prices here are a bit more expensive than other Jap/Kor restaurants around IMO but they're good and fresh, and they definitely don't skimp out on the meat or veggies.I've tried many things on their menu before. I've ordered Japchae before and wasn't a big fan. Gave it another shot and enjoyed it. Not overly salty and had a nice mixture of meat and veggies. Portion was good. The Sushi seems a bit smaller but it was fresh. Cravings satisfied! I had to drive pass 2 Jap/Kor restaurants to come here; worth it though. I've always had great services here. I like that they great you with a smile and they seem easy going. Relaxing ambiance, very clean inside. Wish I lived closer but I don't mind the drive.

Best staff and quality sushi, the owner is very friendly and welcoming, as was Tiffany, who did an amazing job. They are veterans in the business, wouldn't go anywhere else
