Røst Teaterbistro - Trondheim

I didn't cry from luck while I was eating and then I came to this amazing restaurant! Omg of service it spectacular and the food is obviously amazing. This is not for you if you do not pretend to spend more than 2.5 hours in a restaurant. One of the best restaurants in Trondheim, in my opinion.

Excellent restaurant, with great staff and amazing dishes. Lots of unusual ingredients or combination of ingredients, but they were all surprisingly good! The wine choices which followed the three course menu were a good combination with the dishes. The portions are smaller than what you'd find in similar restaurants. Next time I go there, I'd probably go for the 5 course menu instead. So far, best meal I had in Trondheim! :

Excellent place for fine dining, offering 3 or 5 course menus. The food is very well prepared and presented by highly competent staff. Flavours are seasonal and creative, while at the same time retaining some traditionalism. The wine pairing is extraordinary and so is the non-alcoholic juice-pairing; various juices produced at the kitchen fitting the food excellently. Highly recommended!

Definitely a great restaurant. Service is amazing, pleasant, discrete... and wine menu is amazing. Place is nice. Disappointed with food, very salty, hides the tastes. Couldn't understand why there was so.much of it. If you are in town with 1500nok and like fresh local food, try it though. A good memory.

It was okay. Nothing impressive. Service was weird. We had ordered the menu, but at no time did they tell us what we were going to have. Dessert was Æbleskiver, but was nothing like the real deal. The room feels old and dusty.
