Mascalzone Latino - TRIESTE

We found this place by a chance and it was a great luck! The service was top from the beginning. As there was no available table outside they put a new separate one for us. Menu is rather small but the dishes were of a high quality, we went for penne and gnocchi and could have taste the proper Italian tomato sauce with a mix of fresh ingredients. For both they did go really heavy on the cheese, which was definitely pleasant. Had a refreshing carafe of house wine and ended with a creamy delicious tiramisu. Seating outside is on a small vibrant square where you can feel the atmosphere of the city. On the top of all the prices were more than favorable! Definitely coming back, especially for the crispy pizza we saw on the other table.

The staff was slow at the beginning, but then they were attentive and friendly. Food was simpli delicious. You can find typical dishes of the southern Italian kitchen, mostly from the Naples’ area. We ended up here without recommendation, but I highly recommend it!

Very good Italian pizza, place based in the city center. The staff is really friendly and positive. Not very oficial atmosphere. I totally recommend this place.

Nel cuore di Trieste sul percorso in zona pedonale (fra la storica Piazza Cavana e Piazza Hortis), è un punto fermo ideale per mangiare molto bene a prezzi corretti. Soprattutto all'interno si respira un'atmosfera partenopea, in ogni caso pizze e piatti sono tutti eccellenti ed eseguiti con materie prima di qualità. Cortesi sia il titolare che i dipendenti. Consiglio vivamente le penne rigate alla Don Nicola. Bravi!!

Pizzeria molto buona! Quando cerchi una pizza buona e fatta bene puoi contare sempre su di loro! Complimenti!
