Stefano Dassie - TREVISO

Popped in for a little gelato whilst in Treviso and was not disappointed. Between 4 of us we tried about 8 flavours and each was delicious. The lemon was zingy and refreshing and the stracchiatella creamy and sweet. (Not a classic combination, but yummy nonetheless! Service was quick and efficient and the gelato was very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

Though we have been staying in Mestre, across the causeway from Venice, we made two trips to Treviso, a most lovely town in the Veneto. This evening we had to pick up gelato for a family pizza/birthday dinner. So I researched on TripAdvisor, found this to be one of the top Gelaterias in Treviso and it was only minutes away from Piazza dei Signori, a central spot in the Centro , thus also easy to find. The staff was so helpful in deciding which size styrofoam container to pick; enough English to figure this out. Best news: the gelato was so delicious. The classic standards, Pistachio and Nociolo (hazelnut) were excellent, clearly made from high quality nuts. And the Peach was so fresh, with bits of the skin, like eating the freshest, juiciest of peaches; superb! One of the staff told me they had been ranked the 10th best in all of Italy! No idea how that gets determined. All I know is that it 's clearly one of the best I 've had in our two week trip through central Italy and Venice. Definitely a must visit!!

We are on a family trip around Italy and one of my daughters is allergic to some nuts especially pistacchio, so I didn't think she would even be able to have a gelati in Italy because of the cross contamination. But when we went to Dassie the service was amazing and they told us exactly which flavours had not been in contact with any nuts and got it from the back. She was so excited and it was just lovely for me to see her enjoy her first gelati in a very long time. Thanks so much Dassie you made a little girl very happy. And of course the ice cream was also delicious.

All fruit aromas are vegan and an ingenious dark chocolate! They also offer a vegan ice cone!

è abbastanza costoso come gelato, ma alla fine è al centro quindi è comprensibile e quindi la qualità è eccellente. Prendo sempre la pesca goto quando lo trovo e lo consiglio molto. L'ultima volta ho anche preso il cono croccante, il ragazzo mi ha rassicurato che non contiene animali e derivati così mi sono fidato. 5 stelle meritano!
