Domaine De Nidoleres - Tresserre

We’ve been visiting France for over 30 years and in that time have eaten in hundreds of restaurants. Every now and again you’re reminded of why you fell in love with this wonderful country, and it’s reverence for good food. Last night was one such occasion. We saw superb local ingredients lovingly transformed into exquisite dishes, accompanied by beautiful wine from the owners’ vineyard. We stayed at this vineyard en route between France and Spain as it is very close to the motorway and ate at their Auberge. The food was interesting and tasty, not huge portions. They serve their own good wine with meals.The hosts were very friendly and welcomed our two dogs.

Everything is homemade with quality products. They make their very good wines themselves and also cottage with pool, spa, sauna and bike rental to take a walk in the vineyards at the foot of the Albères. Nice and helpful owners. Very good table recommended by the Michelin guide. All you have to do is book!

Very good cuisine, nice place, excellent wines and no need for vaccine pass!!! With a little chance at dessert you may be entitled to a nice little virus!!!
