Domaine de Nidoleres - Tresserre

For over 30 years we have been visiting France and have eaten hundreds of restaurants during this time. Again and again you will be reminded of why you have fallen in love with this wonderful country, and it is reverence for good food. Last night was such an occasion. We saw excellent local ingredients lovingly transformed into exquisite dishes, accompanied by beautiful wine from the vineyard of the owners. We stayed at this vineyard en route between France and Spain as it is very close to the motorway and ate at their Auberge. The food was interesting and tasty, not huge portions. They serve their own good wine with meals.The hosts were very friendly and welcomed our two dogs.
