フィードバックを提供するMy husband and I are currently house hunting and decided to stop by this restaurant for lunch. The service was very friendly and the portion sizes were generous - we ended up taking some leftovers home as we couldn't finish everything. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant, as it is a must-try!
We arrived at the motel and found it to be in a poor condition. There was no registration process, no service, and the room was dirty with broken amenities. The sink tap and TV were not working, there was a hole in the screen, and the room had not been vacuumed. The overall operation seemed neglected and poorly maintained. The bar and food area was managed by a single untrained individual who did not adhere to health standards and showed little concern for customer satisfaction. We decided to leave early as we were the only guests and the pizza we ordered was unsatisfactory, with no sauce and a rubbery crust. We were only able to pay in cash, there was no internet access, and we did not receive a receipt. After briefly staying in the room, we drove 90+ km to Brandon for better accommodations, as we were not able to stay due to the poor conditions. Unfortunately, we were not able to receive a refund as the manager was not on the property. Overall, the motel seemed rundown, deceitful, and in need of demolition.
We honestly stopped because of the precious “terrible” review and thought it would be fun to have a bit of an adventure on our way to Winnipeg. There wasn’t anything terrible about it. The food was good (we had chicken fingers and samosas), the service was very friendly, and overall we had a nice experience.
The menu was disappointing, service was extremely slow, our food arrived at different times, and it seemed like they made each sandwich one at a time. The hot food was cold and not appealing.
Spicier food which is what we like! We have eaten there several times, tried several dishes, most new to us, although you can also order hamburgers, fries, etc
