My husband received a Groupon voucher for Steak, chips and a glass of wine each as a present. Booked to go for lunch on Saturday 3rd Feb. Friendly welcome as we arrived. Full table service throughout even though it got quite busy. Food was great (steak slightly more cooked than requested but not enough to complain) was still delicious and juicy. Overall great food, great service in a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back

Relaxed Lunch with partner friends. Both enjoyed the Flat Iron steak skin on fries chips as they used to be. Service was prompt, though not rushed, friendly waiter who checked on us a couple of times and was happy to make conversation. We'll be going again.

Very disappointing christmas day lunch. Slow service, wrong choices brought out. 2 tiny scallops on huge tray for starters, were gone in seconds. Tasteless turkey, stuffing like a small bomb. Why was there yorkshire pudding?? Trifle was made with sloppy custard and unset jelly. No atmosphere and no value.

We called for lunch last Monday , there is a offer on at the moment two for one on Monday What a bargain, my husband ordered fish and chips and I ordered the noodles with the crispy chicken , delicious. I’ve already had this twice before on previous occasions. We love this pub, it’s very friendly and delicious food. What more could you ask for? See you next Monday

Visited with my kids and mum. Really nice food and fab atmosphere. Staff lovely too. Great pub. We all had the roasts and it was delicious.
