Bistro Barberet Bakery - Tradesville

Love this bakery, and had a lovely brunch here as well. However, I don’t know if I’d do brunch again. I got mussels and so did my sister and many of them were not open. They also were very small portions of bread. My crème brûlée for dessert was great. I wish the ambiance of the restaurant was more French. It’s very modern and could really be any ethnicity. I was definitely not transported to France. However, the bakery is open until 10pm, the desserts in the case look phenomenal and everything I bought from there I loved. Will definitely return for the bakery and maybe to try dinner.

Consistently excellent. Great date night spot! The wait staff is always pleasant, welcoming, and willing to answer questions. We have never felt rushed, and even had a little gift on the table once when it was my birthday! I am gluten and dairy sensitive and I usually get the salmon. They also have some dairy-free sorbet on the menu for dessert. The blueberry whiskey sour cocktail was also delicious. Don't skip out on picking up a few ornate pastries to take home with you from the front bakery, too!

Glad to have a place like this in Lancaster! I recommend the raspberry macaroons, croissants, Costa Rica, and chocolate tarte. There is plenty more I haven't tried, though. Everything looks beautiful. Highly recommend this place!

PLEASE I BEG go back to the old way of making Azure cakes. They were my favorite. All at the very lease stop putting stale cake on top of them it's very unpleasant.
