Doppio - Tower Hamlets

Spotted Doppio as a place to stop after a tour of East End Graffiti in London. Excellent coffee and Italian filled biscuits. They also sell lots of coffee beans, or fresh ground coffee with an array of full on commercial coffee machines.

After two years of being your customer I must say that I am totally disappointed of how the level of service has lowered and how it looks currently. Giullio was the main reason why I was visiting this place on the daily basis, I am amazingly disappointed that he is no longer a part of Doppio team.

Great place! Calm and cozy place, nice waitress, music. You get delicious coffee but prices are cheap so fair enough! You also can buy coffee beans and other things like c. machines here!

I went to this place for a late Sunday coffee on my own, when wandering around Brick Lane market area. I am Italian so I try to avoid the big chains whenever possible. I found this place by chance and I have not been disappointed. Coffee price unfortunately (but obviously) is not as cheap as in Italy (2 pounds for a Macchiato), but it was tasty anyway. I even decided to have 3 baci di dama (small biscuits with chocolate inside) for 1 pound. I liked the wooden tables and the informal atmosphere. Not crowded loved it. The only down I found: no metal spoon, just wooden scoops.

Popped in here for a quick client T meeting. Great place, lots of seating and minimalistic setup. Coffee I'd good with a wide range of various drinks They also sell coffee beans pods to take away. Very funky and cool! Will definitely be back.
