Cafe du Midi - Tourrettes-sur-Loup

I have been visiting this Bar/Restaurant for the last 6 years.It is always busy and I must say Ive never had a bad meal there.Annie the owner is a delightful lady,who sadly lost her husband recently,but she's a trooper who still runs a tight ship....More

Had both coffee and the lunch on the terrace overlooking the main square. This place is full of locals. The lunch menu is simple and ranges from low cost sandwiches to cooked dishes. Clean, friendly and exactly what a local cafe should be.

Had coffee here every morning the staff were very nice and a lovely spot to welcome the day in Tourette sur loop !

This café is actually in the center of the village Tourettes-sur-Loup in Provence. Upon arriving at our vacation rental after a long drive, the groundskeeper recommended this café, telling us to get there by 1:15 because they stopped taking orders at 1:30. So our family of five arrived a little before 1:15 and the waitress said the only tables were in the sun (it was hot), but we said that was fine because we were hungry. So she seated us at a table where we sat completely ignored for 15 minutes. (BTW, I speak French and I was very polite to her). Just after 1:30 she comes by our table and tells us the kitchen has closed, so all we can get are drinks. I pointed out that we had been sitting there for over fifteen minutes, but she said too bad, the kitchen was closed. So we had to pack up out three starving kids and find a place that would be kind enough to serve us. Worst service at a restaurant I have ever experienced!

Family restaurant simple fresh kitchen ...inside omelette sandwich , well served aperitif .. pleasant service...
