Iori - Toulouse

I was desperately looking for a decent Japanese restaurant in Toulouse, and Iori is the best Japanese restaurant in town. They offer a great variety of dishes and drinks - which is great, as the majority of restaurants in Toulouse is limited to sushi and yakitori. Booking in advance is highly recommended, as the restaurant is always full - don't forget to ask for the tatamis while calling the restaurant. Iori is relatively a bit pricey compared to the average price in Toulouse, but it's definitely worth it. Great service too.

Heard good things but was very surprised on our overall evening. Service was polite, but horrendous. Waiting 30minutes between each dish. My friend would have a dish, and then mine would arrive 30 minutes later. When we mentioned the waitresses had clearly forgotten. We had a vegetarian in our crowd so we requested the Ramen without the beef. When we requested a price reduction it was refused. For saying we were delayed and poorly treated, a reduction for this dish would have been a slight consolation in a miserable night. Most expensive noodles in Toulouse. Cannot recommend. This is definitely not for the budget conscious. I received poor service and the salmon had clearly been frozen and left steeped in its defrosting juices. Probably the worst Japanese I've visited in Toulouse.
