Il Piatto Bistro - Totowa

The restaurant is small, but the food was delicious. The pork dishes were particularly good. I would recommend adding more variety and flavor to the dinner menu. Having only chicken marsala on the plate was a bit underwhelming.

We decided to leave because the service was unpleasant. Initially, they did not have any record of our OpenTable reservation. Additionally, the waiter did not acknowledge us for 15-20 minutes after we arrived. When we tried to get his attention, he waved us away and indicated that he was too busy. We ended up going across the street to La Boca and had a much better experience.

The restaurant is small, but the food is delicious. The rice balls are particularly tasty. I recommend adding some vegetables or starch to the dinner menu. It would be more exciting than just offering chicken marsala as the only option.
