Spirits Of 77 - Torrington

My family of 10 went for the Sunday Buffet and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent, especially the homemade meatloaf and mac cheese! One person ordered the 307 burger and it was huge and delicious! The customer service was great and we were checked on numerous times. A great place to eat if you're in town.

Best restaurant in the area. Good service, food, and atmosphere!

Decent food. Has local beer from Wyoming on tap too. Didn't get to try a burger, but they looked pretty solid.

Went here for breakfast one day. I got a orange juice in what seemed to be a medium glass and they charged me about $5.00!!! I could buy a whole gallon at the store for that. Overpriced. Our waitress hardly came and checked on us also. It took forever to get my fancy $5.00 orange juice and food.

This was our first time to Spirits of 77 fro breakfast. We have been in before to have drinks in the bar, but had never been to the resturant side. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Hubby had the chicken fried steak and eggs, which of course I got to sample. It was really good. The gravy was thick and creamy and had really good flavor (not milky or floury at all). The chicken fried steak was tender and tasty and they were able to cook his eggs perfectly. I had a couple of eggs, bacon, and silver dollar pancakes. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon seemed like it had been sitting out for a little while, but still had good flavor. The pancakes were a little off. I think it might have been the syrup and not the actual pancakes. I also got to try some of the green chile that comes on the smothered breakfast burrito. It was pretty tasty also. A little more on the tomatoe side than I'm used to, but had some good heat to it. Over all we liked it and will probably come back for breakfast.
