Great pub great food. Staff very friendly and also dog friendly. View of Tamar and Plymouth . Could just sit watch th boats go by all day. Will be back.

When we arrived, we were informed that there was no carvery left. The staff member simply pointed to a free table, indicating that they clearly hadn’t prepared for our arrival. My daughter was very upset, and we ended up leaving. Unfortunately, everywhere else was fully booked, and they were only taking reservations. I don't understand why, after booking a day in advance, we were faced with this situation. It seems unfair that they served walk-in customers before honoring our reservation. Why didn't they inform us beforehand that they didn’t have space for us?

At the end of our stroll along the South West Coastal Path from Rame Head to Cremyll, it was a pleasure to relax at this pub. The outdoor tables offer stunning views of Plymouth Sound, allowing you to watch the local ferry come and go. Our meals arrived promptly, tasted great, and were reasonably priced. The Edgecumbe bitter provided a nice alternative to the usual local ales. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our experience enjoyable.

The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and I truly enjoyed the roast beef.
